Please join us for this year’s Evening Under the Stars on Thursday May 3, 2012. Evening Under the Stars is a wonderful cultural open house where our children are the “Stars” of the evening. Families are invited to come view their child’s framed artwork, the 5th grade Myths & Masks Artist in Residency exhibit, meet with the teachers in their classrooms, listen to music, have a picnic dinner at school, bid on fabulous Silent Auction items, all while celebrating the students and community of Cheyenne.

RSVP form to have your child’s artwork framed and on display in the cafeteria along with the food order form and must be returned by April 20, 2012.

Registration is now underway for this year’s Amazing Race at the Phoenix Zoo on Friday, April 13th at 4:30pm! We have made it SO easy to sign up and collect pledges online at the Amazing Race web site. Or, you can complete and return the registration form sent home in your child’s Friday Folder at the tables outside the school entrance at drop-off or pick-up NOW THROUGH MARCH 30th. Keep in mind that students turning in registration forms after the March 30 deadline are not guaranteed to receive an event t-shirt. And begin collecting pledges NOW through April 9th to help your classroom win one of these awesome parties:

If your child is planning on participating in Middle School sports during the 2011 - 2012 school year, a sports physical is required. The summer is a great time to get this done. Please take this paperwork to your doctor for completion. Fall sports (boys baseball and girls volleyball) will begin in August. Have a great summer!
